2007 GridsThe Circuit des Remparts is an event organised by the ACOCRA with the participation of the ASA des Remparts and the FFSA.The track, situated in the heart of Angoulême, runs around the ramparts of the town over a distance of 1.279km with 2 bends, 2 right angle corners and 3 hairpin bends. This street circuit remains unchanged since the first event held in 1939. The event takes place over a whole day with practices in the morning and races in the afternoon. The competitors who are divided into 9 grids have a practice session of 20 minutes. Positions on the starting line depend on the practice times. After the podium M. Jean René TILLARD takes the winners for a lap of honour in an historic cabriolet. |
